Title
Dieterich Hall
Description
Dietrich Hall was one of the four high-rise dormitories that were constructed. This hall, along with Millikan Hall was one of the two later high rises to be built and like the other high rises is a seven-story building. Male students first took up residence here in the fall of 1971. Dietrich was named in honor of Herbert R. Dietrich, who was a member of the Northwest faculty from 1928 to 1969. During his time at Northwest, he served as principal of Horace Mann High School, instructor of instructor education, and was chair of the secondary education department.
